I’m actually quite fond of the theory that limebloods are killed to make sopor slime. Karkat never wins!

But seriously, I’m really interested in limeblood!Karkat and how he would live if he wasn’t exactly a mutant, but was still part of a persecuted caste. He’d probably keep the anonymity up and have almost the same blood complex, but I think he’d be more eager to prove that caste is dumb. Being a mutant seems to have internalize a lot of hate, instilling in him ‘there’s something wrong with me’ instead of ‘there’s something wrong with how society sees me.’ He’s not even on the caste system. He’s a mistake. However, if he did view himself as a part of this society, maybe a bit of his hatred would go towards what society does to him.
