Okay, my last semi-coherent journal was about annoying things about shoujo manga. So I decided to randomly make a journal of good shoujo manga!
FIRST!
Lovely Complex is AMAZINGLY HILARIOUS. Both the main characters are morons, but in a fun, I-can-relate-to-that way that gets empathetic and makes them more real. However, the wacky situations they're thrown in are so out of there sometimes! Well, to me... BUT LULZ HAPPENS!
Also, SUPPORTING CHARACTERS ARE GREAT! Though I have no idea why Haruka was thrown in... NOBODY likes him! Except for his girlfriends. PLURAL. And they're all in a sort-of polygamist relationship. SEE! OUT OF THERE! The mangaka recently started another manga called Nanaco Robin, or something like that, and it seems to have a LOT of potential! NOW IF ONLY THE PEOPLE WOULD SCAN IT FAAAAAAAAAASTEEEEEER! D':
Her older stuff, I don't really like the style...
BUT THE NEWER STUFF IS GREAT.

ALSO!
Akaku Saku Koe is a REALLY AWESOME SHOUJO MANGA! I think it could focus on their relationship more, but eh. It's actually kinda nice how subtle their relationship is... the mangaka specifically stated that she was going for an old-couple kinda relationship... I'm just really happy that the female lead is actually useful most of the time, sometimes even rescuing the male lead. YEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSS!

Kingyo Sou is just really sweet~ It's less out there than the other two, but SO FLIPPIN' CUTE!

Saruyama is up there with LovCom, I think...

SO BASICALLY!
Shoujo manga I like must have a nice art style, must be funny at some points (I wanna feel happy while reading, dangit!), shouldn't really have too much damsel in distress-ness, though I guess a bit is okay (I like it better when the girl KICKS BUTT!), cute, good plot, AND ALL THAT JAZZ! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!
